SOUTH PARIS – All 26 members of the Oxford Hills Youth Wrestlers who competed earned medals at the 4-team wrestling meet held recently at Dirigo. Other entries were Mountain Valley, Peru and host Dirigo.
OH wrestlers participating in the Pre-K and K Division were: Logan Truman, Kavan Bowie, Justin David, Jaden David, Jordan Silver, Sebastian Keator, Kaden Cutler, Nathan Farwell, Keegan Kuvaja, Evan Grant. Grades 1-2: Ben Rowe, Josh Kimball, Jake Kimball, Alex McKeen, Curtis Chandler, Jordan Chute, Derek Kenney. Grades 3-4: John Higgins, Dylan Aspinall, Cordell Brooks, Dalton Rice, Kyle Dexter. Grades 5-6: Austin Chute, Jared Santos, Kacey McAllister, Matt Jones.
Taking first place honors: Logan Truman, Justin David, Evan Grant, Curtis Chandler, Jake Kimball, Dylan Aspinall, Kyle Dexter, Dalton Rice, Jared Santos, Kacey McAllister. Finishing second: Kavan Bowie, Jaden David, Jordan Silver, Derek Kenney, Jake Kimball, Cordell Brooks, Austin Chute. Placing third: Sebastian Keator, Kaden Cutler, Nathan Farwell, Jordan Chute, Ben Rowe, Alex McKeen, Matt Jones. Finishing fourth: Keegan Kuvaja, John Higgins.
The OH team will be traveling to Massabesic on Sunday, March 12. The only female on the squad, Kacey McAllister, will be traveling to Fitchburg, Mass., for an all-girls tourney.
