TURNER – Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care’s Turner Center, located at 59 Cobb Road, Turner Primary School, is accepting applications for children ages 3 to 5.
The Turner program offers free preschool services to eligible families. Children attend classes from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with breakfast and lunch provided.
Educational activities are offered, along with socialization and playtime for children primarily from the towns of Turner, Leeds and Greene. The center can be contacted at 225-5605.
Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care has provided child development services to pregnant women, families and children, newborn to age 5, for more than 40 years. Program options include full-day, half-day, home-based, home start, family child care and infant and toddler early Head Start. Centers are located in Lewiston, Auburn, Lisbon Falls, Livermore Falls, Mechanic Falls and Turner.
