LEWISTON – Janet McCarthy Realtor came through big time on the final night of the regular season in the B-2 Division of the Multi-Purpose Center Coed Volleyball League. Mountain Road RV entered Thursday’s action in first place, needing only 1 win in the 3-game match against the Realtors. However, McCarthy swept RV, 21-14, 21-14, 25-24. The two teams finished with identical 41-13 records, but the Realtors claimed the pennant based on head-to-head games.

In other B-2 matches, Mahar Builders took 2 from Fontaine Family, 21-19, 8-21, 21-10; and M&M Getty Mart won by forfeit over E.J. Drywall.

Playoffs begin Thursday, as follows: 6:30, Janet McCarthy Realtor vs M&M Getty Mart; 7:15, Fontaine Family vs Mountain Road RV; 8:00, losers of the first two matches.

In final regular season action in the A Division Thursday, pennant-winner Greeley’s Garage took 2 from CWT Builders, 26-28, 25-18, 26-24; and Peru+2 swept Bio Processing, Inc., 25-13, 25-15, 25-21.

Playoffs start Thursday, as follows: 7:30, Greeley’s vs Bio Processing; 7:15, CWT Builders vs Peru+2; 8:00, losers of first two matches.
