MEXICO – Moving Freely, a six-week exercise program sponsored by Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, will start Monday, March 20, at the Mexico Recreation Center gym, Recreation Drive.

Classes will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday for six weeks. Suggested donation is $5. Instructor will be Louise Stickney.

The goal of Moving Freely is to help participants to achieve and maintain vital, independent lives by incorporating movement into their daily routine. Regular exercise for people of all ages can enhance the quality of life and provide many other health benefits.

Moving Freely offers exercises which are safe, simple and effective. Participants learn why the exercises are necessary, what they do for the body and mind and how to incorporate them into their daily lives. The exercises are designed to achieve the full range of motion in all body parts to develop flexibility, agility, coordination, balance and strength.
