SOUTH PARIS – Members of the Oxford Hills Youth Wrestling Team came home with 16 medals from the a wrestling meet held Sunday at Massabesic High School.
Earning first place honors were Kacey McAllister, Dalton Rice, Ben Rowe, Derek Kenney, Kyle Dexter, Kaden Cutler. Second place: Austin Chute, Keegan Kuvaja, Josh Kimball, Logan Truman. Third place: Cordell Brooks, Matt Jones, Jared Santos. Fourth place: Jordan Silver, Jake Kimball, Curtis Chandler.
The team will be traveling to Sanford Sunday for further competition.
The lone female on the team, Kacey McAllister, earned a silver medal at a wrestling meet held Saturday at Fitchburg, Mass. This coming Sunday, McAllister will be competing in the USGWA New Englnd Girls Wrestling Championships at Bolton, Mass.
