Dear Sun Spots: I just wanted to let Sun Spots readers know that Turner Elementary School reached its box tops goal of $1,000. A large part of this is due to the generosity of many readers who sent me their General Mills box tops. Our school still continues to collect them. If you have any you would like to send, my address is 5 Brookfield Estates, Turner, ME 04282. Thanks! – Laurie Labbe, box tops coordinator, Turner.

Dear Sun Spots: I am looking for people who used to roller-skate in Livermore Falls in the ’60s and ’70s. I would like to get people together at a local restaurant. If anyone also knows the whereabouts of Bob Robinson, his friends Harry, Lenny Sweet and Paula Judd, I’d sure appreciate it. If anyone is interested, please call me, Debbie Stevens, at (207) 786-5306. – Debbie Stevens, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: My name is Nathaniel Hacker. I am 11-years-old and I collect pens and pencils with different names, logos and pictures on them. I was wondering if any of your readers could please send me some from your area. Thank you for your time. I can be reached at: 1851 Reservoir Road, Clarkston, WA, 99403. I have had a wonderful response from everyone so far. However, there is one problem. If you send one, please do not use the regular white envelopes, I have had several come to me broken or the envelope torn-up and empty. Thanks so much. – Nathaniel Hacker, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: For Pat Gregoire’s problem with sap from Christmas trees: I think “Goo Gone” would work. It’s a great product for removing sticker residue, gum, tar, crayon, etc. I have seen it recently on Wal-Mart’s shelves. It comes in an 8 oz. bottle. – Carol Cantin, Mexico.

Dear Sun Spots: I would like to know if anybody has some Reminisce and Country magazines? My uncle, who is 95-years-old, loves to read them. I would like to also have some jigsaw puzzles, 500 pieces, for my sister who is in a nursing home. I also have some romantic novels that I would like to trade.

I enjoy Sun Spots and thank you very much for your help. I can be reached at (207) 782-3792. – L.W., No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: Could you please tell me who in the Lisbon or Lewiston area canes chairs? Thank you. – Richard from Lisbon.
