LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

Jacob Michael Shoemaker, 22, Sumner, criminal mischief, violating condition of release, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Dec. 11, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to 30 days; second charge dismissed; found guilty on third charge, sentenced to 30 days; fourth charge dismissed.

Robert T. Siegmund, 32, Lewiston, violating condition of release and two counts of assault on Jan. 17, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to two days on first charge; fined $300, sentenced to 120 days with all but two days suspended, and one year probation for each on second and third charges.

Cari E. Simpson, 21, Lewiston, obstructing government administration on July 9, found guilty, fined $100.

Kenneth C. Simpson, 18, Lewiston, assault, criminal mischief and obstructing the report of a crime on July 18, all charges dismissed; also charged with violating condition of release and disorderly conduct on Aug. 2, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 10 days for each charge; also charged with burglary and violating condition of release on Nov. 11, both charges transferred to Superior Court.

Daniel D. Smead, 39, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Nov. 15, found guilty, fined $400.

George M. Smith, 41, Auburn, operating a vehicle without a license on Nov. 21, found guilty, fined $150.

Jason C. Smith, 25, Lewiston, violating a protective order, assault and criminal threatening on Jan. 9, 2005, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to 220 days with all but six months suspended and one year probation on first charge; second and third charges dismissed; also charged with terrorizing on Sept. 24, and violation of condition of release on Nov. 10, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 220 days with all but six months suspended and one year probation for each charge.

Larry B. Smith, 43, Durham, operating after habitual offender revocation on Oct. 16, transferred to Superior Court.

Terina R. Smith, 31, Auburn, operating a vehicle without a license and attaching false plates on May 23, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $75 on second charge.

Thomas E. Smith, 51, Lewiston, creating a false public alarm on Dec. 23 and Dec. 24, and terrorizing on Dec. 23 and Dec. 24, found guilty on first and second charges, sentenced to 30 days for each charge; third and fourth charges dismissed.

Wayne F. Soares, 48, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 9, found guilty, fined $600, sentenced to seven days and license suspended one year.

Bernardo S. Soto, 24, Lawrence, Mass., aggravated furnishing of a schedule W drug on Nov. 29, transferred to Superior Court.

Daniel Joseph Soto, 24, Lewiston, assault on Dec. 21, transferred to Superior Court.

Javier Soto, 22, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 1, transferred to Superior Court.

Sandel R. Soto, 29, Wilton, sale and use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana on Aug. 5, both charges dismissed.

Richard Spaulding, 32, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on Nov. 13, found guilty, fined $75.

Justin Spencer, 23, Lewiston, operating under the influence with one prior and failing to stop and provide information on Nov. 12, both charges sent to jury trial.

Scott F. Sprague, 44, Durham, operating under the influence and two counts of assault on Nov. 11, all charges sent to jury trial.

Lucinda R. St. Amand, 49, Durham, assault on Oct. 16, filed, fined $300.

Lionel N. St. Hilaire Jr., 46, Auburn, two counts of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on June 23, both charges transferred to Superior Court.

Ryan St. Jean, 24, Auburn, operating after habitual offender revocation on Oct. 28, transferred to Superior Court.

Megan Stewart, 23, Livermore, operating after registration suspended on Nov. 19, found guilty, fined $100.

Andrew Stonehouse, 41, Auburn, assault on Oct. 9, sent to jury trial.

Amy L. Stover, 27, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Jan. 13, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Joseph M. Strout, 22, Lewiston, criminal trespass and obstructing the report of a crime on April 27, found guilty on both charges, unconditional discharge for each charge.

Katherine V. Swasey, 20, Andover, possession of liquor by a minor on Sept. 11, offense committed, fined $200.

Thomas H. Sweetser, 41, Bryant Pond, operating under the influence on Dec. 2, found guilty, fined $700, sentenced to seven days, license suspended 18 months, and registration suspended.

Robert Swift, 57, Standish, loaded firearm in a motor vehicle on Nov. 1, found guilty, fined $100.

Justin Tardif, 24, Auburn, operating under the influence and driving to endanger on Aug. 27, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $500, sentenced to 48 hours and license suspended 30 days.

Nicholas Tatu, 20, Lewiston, probation violation on a July 7 assault charge, sentenced to 100 days and probation partially revoked; also charged with criminal mischief on Oct. 1, found guilty, sentenced to 24 hours.

David Taylor, 42, Auburn, criminal threatening, assault and violating condition of release on Dec. 22, all charges transferred to Superior Court.

Audrey D. Teacutter, 22, Greene, two counts of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs on June 13, both charges transferred to Superior Court.

Joshua Teale, 26, Freeport, criminal trespass and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Nov. 13, found guilty on both charges, fined $75 on first charge; fined $100 on second charge.

Norman J. Tessier, 44, Lewiston, allowing a dog to be at large on Sept. 6, dismissed; also charged with two counts of operating while license suspended or revoked on Sept. 22, found guilty on first charge, fined $500; second charge dismissed.
