AUBURN – The parents of Christa Ann Lagrange and James C. Smith III are pleased to announce the couple’s engagement.
Miss Lagrange is the daughter of Donald G. Lagrange of Auburn and Susan L. Goodwin of Auburn. She attended Edward Little High School and then went on to graduate from Brewer High School in 2002. She is currently employed as an EMT at Tarheel Medical Transport in Washington, N.C., and also is a volunteer firefighter/EMT for Chocowinity Fire Dept. in North Carolina.
Mr. Smith is the son of James C. Smith Jr. of Washington, N.C., and Rita Dickinson of Chocowinity, N.C. He attended Southside High School in Chocowinity, N.C., and then graduated from Lewiston High School adult education in 2005. He is employed at Beaufort County Hospital in North Carolina in materials management and is a volunteer firefighter for Chocowinity Fire Dept. in North Carolina.
The couple plans to exchange vows on May 20 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Washington, N.C.
