LEWISTON – Members of area organizations and the public are invited to a service commemorating the 31st anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War at noon Saturday, March 25, at the Veterans Memorial Park, located at the Lewiston side of the James Longley Memorial Bridge.

The program will open with singing of the “Star-Spangled Banner.” Jerry DerBoghosian, president emeritus, U.S.S. Canberra Reunion Association, will give the invocation. A guest speaker will be announced.

Tina Higgins, counselor, Lewiston Veterans Center, will read the names of Lewiston-Auburn service personnel who lost their lives during the Vietnam War. The program will close with the sounding of “Taps” and the singing of “God Bless America.”
