LONDONDERRY, N.H. (AP) – Police sought two brothers for questioning in the beating of a recent victim of attempted murder.

Stephen Foti, 20, of Derry, was hospitalized Wednesday after being beaten a Londonderry home.

Police said investigators want to question Daniel Mecke, 21, and Andrew Mecke, 22, who lived in the home. They said a second, unidentified victim suffered minor injuries.

Police responded to a 911 report of a bleeding man on the front lawn but police didn’t find Foti until hours later at a Derry hospital.

Foti was hospitalized after a Sept. 30 shooting at his home left him with bullet wounds in the chest and arm. Daniel Sodoyer, 25, of Manchester, faces attempted murder and first-degree assault charges in that attack.

Foti was arrested in December on charges of selling stolen jewelry at a Salem pawn shop.

Police issued a bulletin for a 1996 Mercury Mystique registered to a Derry resident related to a kidnapping, they would not verify it was linked to Wednesday’s attack.
