SACO – The 17th annual Sweetser Golf Classic is schedued for Monday, June 26 at Sable Oaks Golf Club in South Portland. The event will feature trick shot artist Kevin Compare. Golfers interested in registering for the tourney should contact Kristen Crean at 294-4485, or kcrean@sweetser.org.
Last year’s tourney raised nearly $50,000 for Sweetser, a mental health organization.
Recruiting session set
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – The New England High School Sports College Basketball Showcase for Girls is scheduled for Sunday, March 26 at Bridgewater State College. Each participant will be evaluated for talent by college coaches in the New England and New York area. Parents will receive free training concerning the college recruiting process.

Tennis sign-ups begin
St. Peter’s Grand Slam Tennis is now accepting registration for the Maine Junior Team Tennis Programs.
Age groups are 14-under and 18-under. All middle school and high school players are eligible.
