CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Gov. John Lynch is urging the state Senate to guarantee pay and benefits for state employees called to National Guard or military reserve service.

He already has issued an executive order to make sure employees get pay and health and retirement benefits during military service, but he wants the Legislature to make the order permanent. The House has approved the plan, and it is being considered in the Senate.
