PARIS – Mildred Fox School will have kindergarten registration for the fall classes from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16. Any child who will be 5 by Oct. 15 is eligible to be registered for kindergarten.
Parents should call the school secretary at 743-7802 to schedule a 15-minute appointment for the registration/screening process. On that date, parents should bring the child, a copy of the birth certificate and a copy of a recent physical examination and immunization records.
Those who have been legally appointed guardian/custodian of a child they are registering should bring the appropriate legal documents. Failure to present the necessary documents at that time will result in an incomplete registration and the child will not be able to enter school in the fall.
During the 15 minutes, the child will have a vision/hearing test, a speech screening, height/weight measurements and a brief readiness screening.
