LEWISTON -South of the Border (3) has advanced to the finals in the B-1 Division playoffs in the Multi-Purpose Center Coed Volleyball League.

Border earned 2 victories Wednesday night, the first against D.E.Strout, CPA (2), 12-21, 21-13, 21-11. The Southies then became the lone unbeaten team by knocking off No. 1 Carquest, 17-21, 21-18, 21-18.

In other matches, Carquest defeated Downeast Pension (4), 15-21, 21-11, 21-13; D.E. Strout eliminated General Electric (8), 21-15, 21-9; Jordan Keller (7) ousted Downeast Pension, 19-21, 23-21, 21-16, and then eliminated D.E. Strout, 19-21, 21-12, 21-17.

Playoffs continue on March 29 as Jordan Keller and Carquest meet in the semifinal match at 6:15. The winner will take on South of the Border at 7:15, needing 2 wins to capture the championship.
