STRATTON – The wedding of Emily Rose Pease and Patrick Wayne O’Brien was held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Calvary Bible Church in Stratton. Pastors Bruce Townsend and Norman Johnston officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. O’Brien is the daughter of Greg and Lynne Pease of Stratton. Mr. O’Brien is the son of Charles and Marilyn O’Brien of Byron, Ga.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white chiffon gown with lace overlay bodice and a chapel length train. The veil was made by her mother and she carried long-stemmed antique roses.

Katie Pease served as honor attendant for her sister, and bridesmaids were Elizabeth O’Brien, sister of the bridegroom, and Viola Hitz, Erika Gower and Hannah Vajentic, friends of the bride. Caitlyn O’Brien, niece of the bridegroom, and Kelsey Ryan, cousin of the bride, were flower girls.

A friend of the bridegroom, Jacob Hughes, was best man, and ushers were Michael O’Brien, brother of the bridegroom, and Andy Olsen, David Troester and Tyler Vajentic, friends of the bridegroom. Kyler O’Brien, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Stratton Town Hall, after which the couple traveled to Dennysville. They are residing in Clarksville, Tenn.

The bride received degrees from Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, N.C., for biblical studies and sacred music. She is a homemaker and nanny.

The bridegroom received a degree in biblical studies, with missions emphasis, from Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, N.C. He is admissions counselor at North Central Institute in Clarksville, Tenn.
