WEST PARIS – Edna E. White, 95, died Monday, April 3, at the Ledgeview Living Center. She was a resident of East Andover.
She was born in Barney Brook, Nova Scotia, Canada, a daughter of Ernest and Eva (Woodworth) Spares. She attended schools in Andover.
She was a member of the Calvary Bible Church, where she was very active. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and flower gardening.
She was married in Andover on May 21, 1928, to Chesley W. White, who died in East Andover on Sept. 15, 1982.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald White of East Andover and Russell White and his wife, Viola, of Ashland, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Arsenault of Tewksbury, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Parkman; a grandson, Matthew White; and a sister, Etta Spares.
