PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – A 43-year-old man has been charged with raping a woman from Maine.
Police in Kittery, Maine, sent an ambulance to a home early Saturday morning for a woman who said she had been raped by a man in Portsmouth.
After investigating, police arrested Harold Joseph Ecker Saturday afternoon at his Portsmouth home and charged him with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault.
Ecker was released on $10,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Portsmouth District Court on April 24.
