According to an article printed March 28 in the Sun Journal, 75 percent of the residents of Auburn do not use recycling. That is unbelievable. Shameful.
There is a clear chance for the citizens of Auburn to help the environment, reusing products that would otherwise wind up in growing landfills. Recycling also generates a certain amount of money for the city, money that doesn’t have to be generated by property taxes, which we are always complaining about.
Only 25 percent of the people of Auburn use recycling?
Unbelievable. Wasteful.
