Farmington – Beatrice Vera Clark, 78, of Dryden died early Monday, April 3, at Orchard Park Living Center.

She was born April 7, 1927, in Vienna, a daughter of Frank Lewis and Hattie Louise (Meader) Davis. She received her education in Vienna and Wilton schools. On Feb. 3, 1945, she married Charles Henry Clark. He died June 17, 1981.

She worked as a stitcher at Farmington Shoe, Livermore Shoe, and G.H. Bass in Wilton. She was fond of her family and she enjoyed fishing and going to lawn sales.

She is survived by two daughters, Vivian Jordan and her husband, Duaine, of Temple and Thelma Jewell and her husband, Fred, of Dryden; a sister, Thelma Libby of Rumford; five grandchildren, Carlene Haggerty, Raymond Jordan, Frederick Jewell, Farren Jewell, and Floyd Jewell; eight great-grandchildren, Sheena Sweetser, Felicia Jewell, Jessica Jewell, Samantha Jewell, Levi Jewell, Tyler Jewell, Brady Jewell, and Cody Jewell; two great-great-grandchildren, Abigail Sweetser and Starlynn Sweetser.

She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Carlene Davis; a brother, Carl Davis; and three sisters, Roxie Rackliff, Vena Gray, and Vivian Cushman.
