PHILLIPS – Phillips Shared Ministry announces a special invitation to all Rainbow Girls, present or former, to attend worship services at the Community House at 10 a.m. Palm Sunday, April 9.
Special guests will be the Phillips-Farmington Assembly 8, Rainbow Girls. Phillips Shared Ministry is a United Methodist and United Church of Christ congregation with student Pastor Sue Kaplan. All are welcome.
On Maundy Thursday, April 13, at 6 p.m. a service of prayer, song and worship, including communion, will be held at the Shadagee meeting room, Seward Street. A light meal replicating the Last Supper will be served.
An Easter Sunday communion service will be held at 10 a.m. April 16 at the Community House.
The Phillips Shared Ministry (United Methodist and United Church of Christ) annual meeting will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 30, following the 10 a.m. worship service. David Svenson, district superintendent of the UMC, and David Gaewski, UCC conference minister, will attend. The meeting is open to all.
A Jumble Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at Phillips Community House. Clean household items, but no clothing, will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, April 28.
