NORTHEAST HARBOR – The wedding of Jamie Nicholas and Kevin Pacheco was held at 4 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the Asticou Inn in Northeast Harbor. Pastor Wayne Bucanan officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Pacheco is the daughter of Gerald and Ann Nicholas of Lewiston. Mr. Pacheco is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pacheco of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white ballroom gown gown of taffeta, gathered with diamonds and pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses.

Sarah Nicholas, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Diane Connor, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lesley Dufour, sister of the bride, Jessica Cloutier and Katie Groves, friends of the bride, and Stacie Pacheco, cousin of the bridegroom. Rylee Dufour, niece of the bride, and Isabel and Claire Dubois, friends of the bride, were flower girls.

Paul Gravel, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man, and ushers were Jamie Dufour and Mike Conner, brothers-in-law, Paul DaSilsa and Louis DaSilsa, friends of the bridegroom, Chris Pacheco and Chris Furtado, cousins of the bridegroom, and Josh Crowley, friend of the bridegroom. Brendon Croteau and Bryan Dufour, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Asticou Inn in Northeast Harbor, after which the couple traveled to California and Tahiti. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School and received a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences from the University of Maine. She is employed as a nanny.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Lewiston High School and is a local business owner.
