MECHANIC FALLS – The Elm Street School seventh and eighth graders have been rehearsing for a play, “Caf Murder,” a comedy-mystery that tells about a spoiled brat, a watery murder and a recipe for disaster.

The play, coinciding with an Italian dinner, will be staged at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in the school gym. The cost is $5 for adults, $2 for students and $12 for a family.

The characters include the classical maitre’d, a French chef, a spoiled brat, four sisters, a newly hired waiter and a hyperactive detective. Ticket may be purchased from any cast member or at the school by calling 345-3381.

The cast members are Kasey Lugner, Kaitlyn Bowie, Gabriel Collins, Brianna Morris, Nicole Cary, Laura Look, Joe Romo, Cora Vanarsdale and Paige Massingale.
