LEWISTON – Douglas and Sonia Taylor, hosts of the faith-based urban youth outreach, the Jesus Party, invite children age 5 and up to experience a three-night animated adventure to celebrate Easter.
The Taylors will walk the children through Christianity’s most sacred season: Good Friday, April 14; Holy Saturday, April 15; and Easter Sunday, April 16. Each event will be held at 6 p.m. at headquarters, 291 Bates St.
The ministry’s objective is to present the Passion of Christ in a way that children will understand. The video curriculum, “The Animated Passion Trilogy,” is produced and directed by Richard Rich, former director for Walt Disney Productions.
Rich’s 14 years of experience with Disney include work on “The Fox and the Hound” and “Winnie the Pooh.” The multi-region DVD is licensed for viewing by private, noncommercial, use in homes, schools and churches.
