Lewiston – Hannah M. Jackson, 89, of East Poland died Monday, April 10, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Harrison on May 16, 1916, the daughter of Abel and Olga Rosenberg Pulkkinen. She attended school in Minot and graduated from Buckfield High School in 1933. She married Lynwood Jackson on Sept. 30, 1938, and had been a homemaker all of her life.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Empire Grove Camp Meeting Association.

She is survived by two sons, Carroll Akers and his wife, Marcia, of East Poland and William Akers and his wife, Suzanne, of Greene: three grandchildren, Amy Akers and Melissa Akers both of Poland and Kyle Akers of Fife Lake, Mich.; four great-grandchildren, Kailey and Derek Akers of Michigan and Koby and Saphryn Humason-Fulgham of Auburn; and two sisters, Aino Lambert of Lexington, Mass. and Enni Gifford of Arizona.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1989; and two sons, Paul and Jimmy.
