LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial for Louis Fraser was held Monday at St. Patrick’s Chapel, after prayers at the Pinette Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Thomas Farley celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at the interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. During the Mass, the Old and New Testament readings were read by Amy Fraser, the intercessions were read by Dot Fraser and the offertory gifts were brought to the alter by Joshua Bowen, Allison Fraser and Erin Fraser. Words of Remembrance were expressed by Gil and Richard Fraser as well as Claire Bowen. A delegation of staff and residents of Schooner Estates were in attendance. The U.S. Marine Corps honor detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to his wife, Lucille, in recognition of her husband’s service to his country during World War II, after the committal. Pallbearers were Joshua Bowen and Amy, Doris, Richard, Gilles and Susan Fraser. A reception of fellowship was held after the service at Schooner Estates in Auburn.
