NORWAY – The New Balance Factory Store on Main Street will conduct its final day of business on Saturday, April 15, then relocate to the company’s new store on Route 26 in Oxford next week.

Amy Vreeland, a New Balance spokeswoman, said Tuesday that moving will take place during the week of April 17. She said a grand opening is scheduled for April 29 at the new location. “They are still working out some of the details, but right now that’s the plan,” she said.

Vreeland said there will be “definitely more emphasis” on apparel in the new store. “With more space, we’ll have more room to merchandise apparel,” she said.

The new building is 17,000 square feet, double the size of the Norway store. Vreeland declined to disclose the cost of the project, which broke ground last September.
