WEST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) – Two young men have been arrested and police were seeking four others in the alleged gang rape of a 14-year-old mentally disabled girl last weekend.

West Haven police said the six men and the girl went to a motel off Kimberly Avenue at about 1 a.m. Saturday morning. The girl called her father from the motel lobby after she was raped by the men, and her father called police, authorities said.

Tramont Murray, 18, of Hamden, and a teenager under 18 whom police did not name were charged with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. They were arraigned in New Haven Superior Court on Tuesday and their bonds were set at $25,000.

Police said they were waiting for a judge to sign arrest warrant affidavits for the other four young men, whom they have identified.

The girl knew at least one of her alleged attackers, police said. It was not clear why the girl was out so late that night.

A clerk at the motel said Murray was alone when he went to the front desk and rented a room. Police said Murray brought the girl and other five men to the room through the back door.
