AUBURN – The New Auburn Senior Citizens will host an Easter dinner with all the fixings on Wednesday, April 19, at St. Louis Church basement hall, Third Street. The meal for members only will cost $3.

A meeting was held on April 5 with President Virginia Levasseur presiding. An Easter hat parade was held, and prizes were awarded as follows: Lorraine Poirier, first; Terry Genesco, second; and Mary Labac, third.

Irene Cady provided the accordion music. New members welcomed were Therese Pelletier, Jackie Lothrop and Florence Croteau. A trip to the Sugar House was planned for April 13.

Pot of gold winners were Lucille Thibault, Anna Faucher, Henry Cimon and Therese Roberge. A moment of silence was observed for the sick and shut-ins.

Those observing birthdays in April received small gifts and the “Birthday Song” was sung. The meeting was adjourned, a light lunch was served, and bingo followed. Open bingo will be on April 26, May 10, 24 and 31 and June 14 and 28.

All seniors 60 and over are welcome. A yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 5.
