LEWISTON – “Reflexology – Hands on Feet” will be the subject of an Accenting Women’s Health program being offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Central Maine Medical Center Chairmen’s Rooms, lower level of the 12 High Street Medical Office Building.
Certified massage therapist Donna Crawford will lead a “hands-on-feet” session that will demonstrate basic foot reflexology techniques.
Reflexology is based on the idea that “reflex areas” in the feet and hands correspond to various parts of the body, and that stimulating the reflexes properly can impact health and wellness.
Participants may attend singly or bring a partner. The program is another in an ongoing series of Accenting Women’s Health presentations exploring women’s health issues.
