EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Brian Gionta extended his point-scoring steak to 14 games and Patrik Elias had two goals to lead the surging New Jersey Devils to their 10th straight win, 5-1 over the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday afternoon.

The Devils and Flyers each have 99 points, good for a fifth-place tie in the Eastern Conference. Both are one-point behind the Atlantic Division-leading New York Rangers. The three teams each have one game remaining.

Scott Gomez and Jamie Langenbrunner also scored for the Devils, who own the longest winning streak in the NHL this season.

Martin Brodeur made 25 saves to earn his 42nd win.

Sabres 6, Maple Leafs 0

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Ryan Miller made 31 saves for his first shutout of the season in the Buffalo Sabres’ 6-0 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday.

Chris Drury scored twice and Brian Campbell had a goal and two assists in the playoff-bound Sabres’ regular-season home finale. Paul Gaustad added a goal and assist, while Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville also scored to extend Buffalo’s winning streak to four.

Chicago 4, Columbus 3

CHICAGO – Kyle Calder scored the winning goal with 4:32 left in the third period to lift the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Coyotes 3, Blues 0

ST. LOUIS – Curtis Joseph made 40 saves for his fourth shutout and the Phoenix Coyotes ended their season by blanking the St. Louis Blues 3-0 on Sunday night.
