JAY – Police are investigating criminal mischief complaints after eight tires were slashed on two trucks at two different residences in North Jay early Monday.

Police have a suspect in the case, Cpl. Jeffrey Fournier said Monday.

The suspect had previously called the victims, who are in the same family, and threatened to cause damage, he said.

Jay police called out Franklin County deputy sheriff Cpl. Nate Bean and his tracking dog, Ben, to help with the investigation.
