DOVER, N.H. (AP) – A man who blinded his ex-girlfriend in a beating two years ago will spend up to 45 years in prison for the attack.

A judge yesterday sentenced Brandon Fecteau, 27, of Rochester, to 16 to 45 years in prison, but his ex-girlfriend said that’s not long enough.

Sharon Klitz was blinded in one eye, her eardrum was ruptured and she suffered multiple face fractures after Fecteau attacked her in a Rochester park.

Klitz had no health insurance when she was attacked. She intends to sue Fecteau for thousands of dollars in medical bills.
