AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department of Central Maine Community College will offer a four-part certificate program in customer service from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on consecutive Thursdays, May 4 to 25. The cost, $195 a person, will include materials.

The “Customer Service Excellence Certificate Program” (CCS 027-01) is for retailers, sales teams, bank and credit union employees, medical office staff, hospitality workers, customer service representatives and anyone who deals with customers.

Participants will learn the importance of creating a culture of customer service, how to communicate with customers using tested techniques in a variety of media channels, how the customer’s perspective and experiences impact what they expect and how to maintain a high level of quality customer service that can set the organization apart from its competition.
