PHILLIPS – The Zone Coalition, along with the SAFE Zone and the Phillips Area Boys and Girls Club, will host an indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at the Old Alumni Gym.
The proceeds from table rentals will ensure the doors remain open. Anyone can rent a table for $10 or people can bring their own table the day of the sale for $5. There are a limited number of tables. Contact Sharon Dudley at 670-5656 if interested.
The mission of the Zone Coalition is “to revitalize the spirit of Avon, Madrid and Phillips though the collaborative development of a community center to benefit the well-being of all who live here.”
In the spring of 2005, the Zone Coalition acquired the Phillips “Old Gym” and opened the building for area youth last fall.
