AUBURN – A Celebration of Life requiem Mass for Marguerite “Peggy” Polasko was held Saturday morning at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Barbara L. Barth officiating at the service.

During the service, the organist was John Whitmore; church usher was David Provencal; the crucifer, Melissa Sparks; and the two acolytes were Mary Moran and Sheryl Whitmore.

A funeral procession was then formed and followed to North Turner Cemetery, where Mother Barbara recited committal prayers and consecrated the grave. Following com-mittal prayers, Peggy’s favorite poem, “Trees” by Alfred Joyce Kilmer was read by all in attendance in honor of Peggy.

A reception of fellowship was then held at the Sedgely Place in Greene. Arrangements were by the family-owned Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel, Auburn.
