AUBURN – New Auburn American Legion Post 153 Cub Scouts held its annual blue and gold banquet at the post home recently.
Two Scouts reached their highest level as Webelos and crossed over to become Boy Scouts.
The ceremony was conducted by two Indian Scouts, Adam Tanguay, Troop 565, and James Vachon, Troop 110. Parents stood as Andrew Breau Jr. and R.J. Pellerin crossed over to Boy Scouts. They were met by Scoutmaster Ronald Poulin and their neckerchiefs were replaced by Boy Scout neckerchiefs. The two were congratulated by leaders and families. A meal was served following the ceremony.
