MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Nearly a hundred people ran for their lives Sunday after their apartment building was hit by fire.
No residents were hurt, but authorities say at least 24 families were forced out of the Beech Hill apartment complex around 7 p.m.
The fire department says two firefighters were hurt – one was hit by a hose and another suffered a back injury. Fire officials say some people will be able to return to the building soon, but that about a dozen families will be displaced for some time.
Investigators are trying to figure out what started the fire.
