The First Universalist Church of Auburn held a service comprised of spiritual music on April 2. Organized by worship associate Ned Claxton, 25 members offered an array of pieces from chanting to rhythm and blues, including Patty Weidler, left, with a Grieg etude; UU organist Phil House, center, inspirational medley on piano; and Barbara Hinckley, right, singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” The choir, led by music director Dave Rowe, performed “With a Voice of Singing,” an early 20th-century piece.
