LEWISTON – Investment consultant William Arata visits Bates College to discuss tactics for managing cash flow that promote an optimum return on long-range investments at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 7, in the Keck Classroom (G52), Pettengill Hall, Andrews Road.

The event is open to the public at no cost, but reservations are requested. Call the college’s Career Services office at 786-6232 to reserve a seat.

Arata is senior vice president of investments at USB Paine Webber, Bangor, and has more than 37 years of experience in finance. From Brooklyn, N.Y., Arata graduated from Bates with a B.A. in Spanish in 1965. He went on to join the U.S. Marine Corps, attaining the rank of captain and serving a tour of duty in Vietnam. He lives in Veazie with his wife, Sally.
