Angela Additon, daughter of Matthew Brooker of Lisbon and Barbara McGill of North Monmouth, has received recognition at the University of New England’s Spring Awards Convocation at Ludcke Auditorium on the university’s Westbrook campus in Portland.
She received the National Collegiate Student Government Award for outstanding achievement and commitment to student government and Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities for outstanding merit and accomplishment at the University of New England.
A 1999 graduate of Lewiston High School, Additon is majoring in dental hygiene and is involved in the Student Government Association, Student American Dental Hygiene Association and Omicron-Psi Honor Society and is on the dean’s list.
