AUBURN – Lewiston/Auburn Community Little Theatre is midway through its 66th season and already the CLT Play Reading Committee is perusing scripts submitted by directors for the 67th season.
Not only does the committee review the plays and the merits of each, but they must consider the budget needed to present the play – the cost of costumes, props, set dcor and set construction, royalties and available talent in the casting pool.
Another important consideration is what patrons would like, so a balance of comedy, drama and musicals must be achieved.
