LIVERMORE FALLS – Selectmen appointed two residents to the SAD 36 board Monday until elections are held June 13.

The residents, Ann Souther and Lori Morris, are running uncontested for directors’ positions next month.

The board also appointed Selectman Julie Deschesne to a site review committee that will choose the location for the new school, Town Manager Martin Puckett said Tuesday.

Selectmen also scheduled another budget review meeting for 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, at the town office.

The board has been reviewing a draft budget of $2.55 million that reflects all the department heads’ requests, Puckett said.

Selectmen have already made cuts to bring the draft document below $2.5 million, he said.
