LEWISTON – Maine Event Cheer & Dance Training Center’s dance teams competed recently in their first-ever competition at Starpower Dance in Worcester, Mass. Maine Event’s Street Jazz team took first place in its division with a gold medal performance. The Cheer Pom team also took first place with an elite gold medal showing. Cheer Pom was awarded the highest score at the competition in the Small Group category for ages 16 and up.
