POLAND – Jacqui Bell had two hits and drove in both runs for Fryeburg as the Raiders defeated Poland 2-0 in a softball matchup Saturday.

Fryeburg (4-4) starter Hanna Hill pitched a complete-game, three-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts to pick up her fourth win of the season.

Kristen Simpson started the game on the mound for Poland and had two hits at the plate. Kelly O’Connor threw four innings of scoreless relief for the Knights (3-3).

Hebron 7, Kents Hill 0

HEBRON – Katherine Cole went 4-for-4 at the plate with a triple, scored three runs and collected an RBI, as Hebron remained undefeated in MAISAD softball with a 7-0 victory over Kents Hill.

Tiffany Bichrest had three hits, including a triple, and Kainani Stevens scored two runs for Hebron.

Sarah Irish pitched the complete-game shutout, allowing nine hits with four strikeouts and no walks allowed.

Girls’ lacrosse

Hebron 16, Gould 8

HEBRON – Maddy Campbell netted seven goals as Hebron dropped Gould 18-8 and remained perfect in MAISAD lacrosse.

Jill MacIsaac had four goals and three assists for Hebron (6-2), with KJ Forand and Fiona McTeigue adding two goals apiece. Steph Roy stopped 10 shots in the Hebron net.

Molly Fitzgerald put in four goals for Kents Hill.
