Dear Sun Spots: It is wonderful that you make a spot available for people with questions and those who need advice.

My husband and I relocated here from Mississippi, where we lost our home and all our possessions in Hurricane Katrina. After selling our property there, we managed to come out with enough to allow us to buy a mobile home. Our problem is we cannot find a place in the area that will rent us a lot because we have a tiny little dog. She is quiet, well-behaved and always with us. We are retired, have excellent references, and would like to remain in the Augusta to Lewiston area. If anyone knows of a park or has a private lot that will allow a 10-pound dog, please contact Joy at 724-3262. We would appreciate it very much. -Joy, West Gardiner.

Dear Sun Spots: If any of your readers have some empty ink cartridges from computer printers or office copiers, big or small, Wisdom’s Center could use them. We send them to a company that pays us for them. Since the center is a non-profit organization, every little bit helps us keep going. As you know, Wisdom’s Center is a drop-in center for women in Lewiston. If anyone can help us, please call 784-0155. Thank you. – Sr. Maureen Hurley, Lewiston.

I’m looking for someone reputable to come to the house and look over some old items and perhaps give appraisals and let me know where and how to sell these items. Thanks for your help. – No Name, Jay.
