LEWISTON – The Lewiston Housing Authority has announced the 15th annual Festival of Arts to be held from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, at the Hillview Resource Center.

The festival will celebrate the paintings, crafts and music of students who are enrolled in the Youth Enrichment Opportunity Program.

The program was established in 1991 and is available to children ages 6 to 18 who live in Lewiston Housing family developments. The focus is to promote art appreciation and build confidence and self-esteem by participation in the art, craft and music classes that are held throughout the year.

Student artwork is available for sale for a nominal fee. Art Coordinator Sissi Ventrone, craft instructor Andrea Kuvaja, music instructors Ed Judd, Chris Lansley, Jeremy Ellis and their students extend an invitation to share their special day.
