Candidates Night for Oxford County
GREENWOOD – Oxford County Republican Candidates Night will be held Saturday, May 13, at the Jackson-Silver Post American Legion Hall on Gore Road. The event is sponsored by the Woodstock Republican Committee.
The event opens with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. and a banquet at 6:30 p.m. After dinner, candidates will be introduced and asked to speak. A silent auction will also be held.
Organizers of the event are George Hooper and Joan Putman. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
Gore Road runs between Route 26 in the village of Locke Mills in Greenwood and Route 232 in Woodstock.
