For instance, Sun Spots located a man in Leeds who may possibly be someone you’re seeking. Several of the local libraries often carry several editions of Maine phone books and also might be a good place to start researching if you don’t receive many responses to your inquiry.

Dear Sun Spots: I love your column. My daughter and I are having a yard sale in June and are wondering if there is anybody in the Livermore Falls area who will come and take all the left over “goodies” when the sale is over. We can be reached at 897-3771. – Diane Pelletier, Livermore Falls.

Dear Sun Spots: I have some Betty Crocker points to give away. Please call me at 353-4971. Thank you. – No Name, Lisbon Falls.

Dear Sun Spots: I remember playing a game as a child that involved throwing a ball against the wall and doing a series of activities that got increasingly harder with each throw. For example, clap once after you throw the ball and then catch it, clap twice, then clap three times. It also involved turning, clapping under the legs, etc. I was wondering if anyone can remember the sequence of a game similar to this. I would like to teach my own children this game. I have asked a few people and also checked online but have gotten nowhere. I am hoping someone will remember playing this game. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: Thanks for all the help you give to your readers.

I am in need of nine pieces of laminate flooring that the dealer I originally bought it from no longer carries. It is Smart Clic, Clic 2 Clic, Stock D755, Carolina Red Oak. If there is someone who may have purchased extra, please call me, as I’ve been unsuccessful in finding this color. I will pay a reasonable price and pick it up. I can be reached at 933-4229. Please leave a message. – Sandra Porter, No Town.
