LEWISTON – A week after pleading guilty to child endangerment, Donna Pagnani was back in jail on a charge of violating conditions of release.
The 23-year-old homeless woman was arrested on a warrant Thursday afternoon and taken to the Androscoggin County Jail where she remained Thursday night.
Last week, Pagnani agreed to a plea deal and charges of possessing and trafficking meth were dropped.
Those charges stemmed from a Jan. 25 raid at a Sabattus Street apartment that ultimately led to the conviction of her boyfriend, Louis Rubino. He was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison.
About 1 p.m. Thursday, police arrested Pagnani as she went to a court appearance. She had been named in a warrant charging that she violated conditions set when she was released from jail.
When she was freed from jail earlier this year, Pagnani was ordered to meet regularly with court officials as part of her pre-trial conditions. It was not clear Thursday night what Pagnani is accused of doing to violate those conditions.
