OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Danielle Jamison allowed just five hits and received plenty of support at the plate as St. Dom’s sailed past Old Orchard Beach 14-2 in game 1 of a softball doubleheader Thursday.

Jamison led the Saints (7-2) at the plate with three hits and two RBIs. Abby Gilbert contributed with two hits and four RBIs, while Kate Eslinger added two hits and one RBI.

In the nightcap, the Saints (8-2) rolled to another convincing win, 13-1, led by Laura Robitzek with two hits and three RBIs.

Poland 15, Gray-New Gloucester 3

POLAND – Kristen Simpson belted four hits and had six RBIs to lead Poland to a 15-3 rout over Gray-New Gloucester. Simpson’s sister Katie chipped in for the Knights (6-4) with three hits and three RBIs.

Kristen Simpson also hurled six innings of tw-hit softball to notch the mound win. Kerri Lynn Sanborn got her first start on the mound for the Patriots (2-8) and was tagged with the loss.

Livermore Falls 17, Boothbay 0

BOOTHBAY – Marjorie DeBrosky and Sam Whiting sparked a 17-hit attack with four each to power Livermore Falls to a 17-0 victory over winless Boothbay.

DeBrosky knocked in three runs, while Taryn Flagg added three hits, including a double, and 4 RBIs to lead the Andies (8-4). Pitchers Whitney McDaniel and Flagg limited Boothbay (0-10) to three hits.

Mt. Abram 15, Wiscasset 5

WISCASSET – Asia Burrill belted out two hits and had three RBIs to propel Mt. Abram to a 15-5 rout over Wiscasset.

Logan Walker pitched a four-hit complete game to earn the win.

Oak Hill 12, Rockland 7

ROCKLAND – Magan Blais and Angie Russell combined for four hits and five RBIs to lead Oak Hill to a 12-7 victory over Rockland.

Shannon Safford went 3-for-4 for the Raiders (7-4), while Kristen Eaton added two hits. Danni Potvin allowed five hits in a complete game effort and picked up the win.

The Tigers (3-8) were paced by Dana Clark with two hits on the day. Jackie Connnell handled pitching duties and was credited with the loss.
